The Trieschmann House, constructed in 1903 for Adam Trieschmann, stands as the second oldest residence in Crossett, Arkansas. Originally situated on Pine Street, the entire house was relocated to its current address at 707 Cedar Street in the 1940s to accommodate the expansion of the business district.
Boasting six bedrooms and three bathrooms, the home offers two expansive living areas, along with a generously sized kitchen and dining room on the main level. Many of the rooms feature twelve-foot ceilings, enhancing the home's sense of grandeur and elegance.
Our top priority is respecting the legacy of The Trieschmann House. Staying true to the time period, the house contains many of the original features - including wallpaper from 1903!
A boiler room is a rare feature in the South, and we’re lucky to have one! Instead of central heat, the home is warmed by radiators. This means water is heated with natural gas and then flows through pipes under the house before exiting the radiators in each room.
As new owners of The Trieschmann House, we are constantly searching for historical information. Please share with us any photos, documents, or stories, so we can honor the journey this house has been through.

"She literally laid out on the floor," Rob would explain, as he told the serendipitous story of how The Trieschmann House fell into our laps.
The moment Rob told me The Trieschmann House was coming up for sale, I was completely hysterical with excitement. The more he told me, the more overjoyed I became with the possibilities. I seriously laid on the kitchen floor processing that my dream may come true!
Long story short, it happened January 9, 2025!
We feel so privileged to be able to turn this amazing home into something great for our community. We hope you share our vision and visit us often!
Yours truly,
Emily Moffatt
